You confusing Cappy male...
Your erratic communication patterns
have me mentally pacing non-stop
You approached me, don't you even remember,
on the first day that we met?
Struck up a pleasant conversation
Afterwards, your face I couldn't forget

Yet if I went out of my way for that
We'd be forcing fate too much

For the moment that we saw each other

And now, after all these dramatics
you have the utter gall and nerve
to ignore an Aries rising female,

You only give me a smug shake of the head,
As I board the bus in a daze,
Casually fix our sensual dark eyes upon me
and flash me a funny face,
Then proceed in a chat with another passenger,
Occasionally passing me an amused look
as I soundlessly sing along to my Moulin Rouge CD,
and tune your rejection out.
Why the heck did you ever mention that girl,
the girlfriend you couldn't have had two months back
or else you're a slimier person than I thought
a cocky two-timing jerk
Mom thinks you just said that to make me jealous
and when we met, you were still unattached
she says you sound too serious-minded
to pull the stunt I imagined like that.
As I walk fumlingly out the sliding glass door and I wave
only to the driver in front
Don't think that we have no future,
some honest answers could get us back on track.
