She leads an aimless, lazy life
And she keeps saying to everybody:
'I'm moving on. I'm working on it.'
But she's only joking

Days go by, weeks go by, months go by
Everything's still the same
She is not moving on
She is only talking

And whatever you say
She'll buy it
And it would really irritate you
When she talks and talks and talks
About her everything
Her past, her present and her so-called future
'Til you feel like you're going to drop dead

Don't waste your time
Hanging out with her
Chatting with her on the telephone
Man, you've got better things to do
Don't you see she's pathetic?
Do you want to be like her?
You can't help her
Nor can she
So just do yourself a favour
Let her go her own pathetic way
