Touching the face in the mirror
With a nervous hand
Attempting to reach out to my old friend
Trying to know her
Once again

Shes been tainted
By the experience of others
Yet she has lost the will
To create her own
And even though shes surrounded by loves ones
She still always feels
Alone

At one time
I was deep within her
Not just as her lover
But also her only friend
And I hope that she opens up
So that I may have a chance
To become one with her
Once again.
