It's been a while since I've written something I've been pleased with. Today I was sitting and "studying" and I scribbled this in my little notebook..it sounded like a little poem and I sort of like it, so I thought I'd share:To hell with… this small cup of tea,
my papers,
papers of a student who is hungry
not for knowledge,
not this knowledge,
to hell with the three dimes I deliberately arranged on top of my intentionally haphazardly placed notebook to give
my fellow patrons of this schizophrenic café
the impression I’m eccentric and artistic enough to be thoughtfully arranging
dimes in this establishment that does have excellent tea, I must admit
it’s loose leaf and you can make out the leaves
and no, you still haven’t serendipitously walked past the window
and yes, I am going crazy waiting.
