Jaded, innocent heart
held in silent
frozen time
weighted down with the force
of unmoving clouds
pinned under oppressive dark skies
and the fleeting promise
of the Ephemereal Vison
Your eyes glistened
so enchantingly insideFading away...
like a captured sighting
so brief, then gone
a quick intake of beauty
on an accelerated scenic drive
fading, yet not forgotten,
into the distant miles behind Peering out of this dusty
passenger window
as the world quickly whizzes by
A silent witness~~
this heart tells no tales
another could bear to understand
Reflecting, refraining
broken~breaking inside.
No tears shall ever erase
that last giving word
Suspended
mid-sentence
for eternity.
