If I could just stop thinking,
maybe it would be alright.
I wouldn't lean so heavily on you,
on the few short words you share.
If I could just make it go away,
I wouldn't be in the shape I'm in.
I wouldn't need anyone else
and I would never be weak.
If I could just get out of the way,
things would become clearer.
I wouldn't be ashamed of who I am.
I wouldn't be so scared of what I don't see.

maybe I could find some peace.
