Sometimes I look at the stars and think: do you look at them too?
I blink an eye at the hazy moon and wonder if it’s glow caresses you.
Wrapped in a blanket by your window, I see you staring through foggy glass at the street below.
I don't know.. I don't know..And as you brush your teeth in the mirror,
you can sense me nearer..
Do you see
the person you would like to be?
Your eyes... your eyes,
they tell a story nothing like your lies..
You sleep at night, but do you dream?
I think of things and how they seem..
Nothing is what it seems in this place.
I can hardly move without seeing your face.
And on the bridge where you held my hand,
did you think of where it is we stand?
Two freckles on the earth's cheek
what is this truth our smiles seek?
Reaching has never been this hard..
