I wrote this poem 1 year ago.I never show anyone my poems but I'm gonna share it with you. I think I'm loosing myself in you. Why? I don't know but I choose to go on, because these butterflies are driving me insane. All I want is a taste of your sweet love, and the feel of your warm embrace. As you caress my face. And look into my eyes. Under the moon lit sky. As the river calmly flows. Hopefully we can grow and become one in this world full of mystery As we become history And surrender our souls.

What a beautiful poem! I'm sat here at home with a horrible cold feeling really low and that just really moved me - thanks! I hope you don't mind, but I wrote loads of poems a few years back, sort of therapy I suppose, but I've never let ANYONE see them. I'm feeling braver now so here goes: Deep pools surround me I watch, fascinated Each black lake calls Promising comfort. I wish to fall beneath the Soft blackness where Nothing can touch me But my thoughts. To swim in silence Alone; completely alone. Thick and intoxicating as Smoke such petty Worries would belost. I am cradled in pity. Perhaps the blackness will Suck dry the ego which Plagues my soul, Then I will be humbled.

A cold searing wind tears across the heathered moors Singing its lonely lament. It calls out, whipping up all which might obstruct the Cries; But nothing can except for the closed ears of man. Rock formations radiate deep melodies While the earth itself seems to stir beneath them. Clouds weep down heavy tears in sympathy for our chosen Deafness; As the grass chitters rhythmically why? why? why? Once we all knew the songs of the trees and the hills. The whole earth is alive; Its begs for us to join. I actually called this one 'forgotton melodies' in honour of Linda. It was written as part of my A level portfolio - I not sure my teacher at the time was quite sure what to make of it...
