The only thing stronger than a man is a woman.~ hsc ------------------ 'Would you know your Lord's meaning in this thing? Know it well. Love was his meaning. Who showed it to you? Love. What did he show you? Love. Why did he show it? For love. Keep yourself therein and you shall know and understand more in the same. But you shall never know nor understand any other thing, forever.' - Julian of Norwich 'My friends, how desperately do we need to be loved and to love. When Christ said that man does not live by bread alone, he spoke of a hunger. This hunger was not the hunger of the body. It was not the hunger for bread. He spoke of a hunger that begins deep down in the very depths of our being. He spoke of a need as vital as breath. He spoke of our hunger for love. Love is something you and i must have. We must have it because our spirit feeds upon it. We must have it because without it we become weak and faint. Without love our self-esteem weakens. Without it our courage fails. Without love we can no longer look out confidently at the world. We turn inward and begin to feed upon our own personalities, and little by little we destroy ourselves. With it we are creative. With it we march tirelessly. With it, and with it alone, we are able to sacrifice for others.' - Chief Dan George 'Judgment is the antithesis of understanding, and hatred of evil is the craftiest and least well-known of vices, so easily is it mistaken for love of good.' - Heart-Shaped Cross 'What keeps most people from suffering very much is lack of imagination.... Everything great that we know has come from neurotics. It is they and only they who have founded religions and created great works of art. Never will the world be aware of how much it owes to them, nor, above all, what they have sufferred in order to bestow their gifts upon it.' - Marcel Proust 'In the psychopathic temperament we have the emotionality which is the sine qua non of moral perception; we have the intensity and tendency to emphasis which are the essence of practical moral vigor; and we have the love of metaphysics and mysticism which carry one's interests beyond the surface of the sensible world. What, then, is more natural than that this temperament should introduce one to regions of religious truth, to corners of the universe, which your robust Philistine type of nervous system, forever offering its biceps to be felt, thumping its breast, and thanking Heaven that it hasn't a single morbid fibre in its composition, would be sure to hide forever from its self-satisfied possessors? If there were such a thing as inspiration from a higher realm, it might well be that the neurotic temperament would furnish the chief condition of the requisite receptivity.' - William James http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f309/Alem7/chart1.gif http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f309/Alem7/steve5.jpg IP: Logged |

ILWL,Thank you. quote:
fiction: n. 1. something invented by the imagination... specif: an invented story. 'Websters'
Hmm,... While it is technically a work of fiction, I agree with you that "work of imagination" is better, since it avoids the usual implication of "a story". Although, if we are going to be truly precise, I think we might have to call it a piece of cr*p. A "work of imagination" it is! Thank you for posting your chart. Wow, nice grand trine! - With the Moon, too; You must be super-smart! And for sharing your pic. You have the rare advantage of being both pretty AND cute. Lucky girl. take care, Stephen

ILWL,You're very welcome. And thank you for the new batch of compliments. I suppose I tend to underestimate the importance of that mars/merc sextile to the moon. I'm sure, along with 5th house in Gemini, it is responsible for a lot of my writing talent and word-play. Mercury is on a "critical degree", for one thing, and the depositor (Jupiter) is in the 7th, which gives it a Venusian flavor. I do credit a combination of factors for contributing to my creativity, and my artistic way of approaching the world. I think Venus is important (conjunct sun, uranus, and mc in Scorpio - water signs are often creative). And all the Pisces, Neptune influence, which isnt the most obvious thing in my chart, but I think its significant; Pisces South Node, Neptune semi-square the 1st house Moon, Neptune parallel (similar to conjunct) Venus, Mars, and the Ascendant, and even the fact that my stellium is in the Pisces Decan of Scorpio. I see you have a Mars/Merc conjunction too, also angular, but in an air sign. And its not as close as mine, so, you probably aren't as argumentative as I am, and your mind probably stops to take a breath every once in a while, lol. I swear, I wish my mind would slow down and let me catch up from time to time. It is very difficult deciding what I think, when i never stop thinking. And its difficult deciding what to write or say, when I keep thinking of more things to write and say - and then thinking about the reasons to write and say this or that, and the reasons for the reasons.... It is often more trouble than its worth, in my opinion. What I wouldnt give for a nice, relaxing mercury/venus sextile, or something like that. The Mars/Merc in Sag is definitely philosophical, but so is my 9th house Sun, Venus, and Pluto, and my angular Jupiter squaring sun and oppositioning moon. Again, I wish I could stop philosophizing for a couple of days. That would be terrific! I credit my Scorpio stellium, my chart-ruler in the 8th house (in Virgo, sextile Sun), my Pluto square Ascendant, and the fact that Pluto is my "planet of oriental appearance" for any insight I may have into human nature. I think a strong 7th house emphasis contributes to that, too. With your Mars/Merc and Sun/Descendant, I bet you know a thing or two about people yourself. I know Jung had his sun in the 7th, and I think a few other famous psychologists did, as well, if I remember correctly. Not to mention your Sun square Pluto! Intense. S
