MOON OPPOSITION PLUTO:
NOT TOO WISELY BUT WELLIn the cemetery of fire
where crosses made of kisses burn
I lay in my fluid tomb
awaiting resurrection by your crooked smile. Oh how we loved beyond life,
piggybacked on little deaths!
Look...
This was where your marble touch
transformed my flesh.
That was the spot where I heard
the silent stars.
That was the way your serpentine
gaze decimated the darkness
and injected vivacity into flagging veins.
This was the halcyon voice,
the ragged whisper that spoke to me,
once again, of blest desire. Yea, we burned and raged throughout a whole
lifetime of nights in that bright
and terrible cemetery of fire.

Thank you, HSC! I've been reading some of your poems in your blog. Oh boy, such powerful stuff you've got there! Such intensity and earnestness! Vivid images and beautiful turns of phrase! You are so good that you ought to get published. Or maybe you already are and I'm just not aware of it, and if so, please excuse my ignorance.I'll be returning to your blog from time to time coz I haven't read all of your excellent poems yet.
