Hemingway was challenged to write a "flash fiction" novel of 6 words or less about his life and his result is part of history.

for sale, baby shoes, never worn.

Write your own lifes flash fiction here.

juni`s:.

books, babies, band-aids

crisis`s, crystalizing cronehood.

Winter born... a new bud, blossoming.

This is a nice exercise. I want to encompass my own feelings of my life and past... with my deepest feelings about my daughter and God (and my future).
This sort of meditation is perfect for the day.

thanks Juni

Lovely MysticMelody

Yes the story changes as do our lives and it is a very personal sharing..

I clearly remember mine when I was 14 and my 2 aunts were killed in a car accident;

"under stone, love lies, thanks God."

I'm so sorry you lost your aunts, Juni. It hurts my heart just to think about losing mine. I have two special aunts that offer this constant unfailing support that my parents could not... due to more intense contact and conflict I suppose. I can absolutely see how that shaped your life. What a precious gift to lose, and at such an important age.
I hope another door of love opened for you.

Yes, Nosis, this is a great thread

I`m so glad you have two lovely Aunts to share life with. They fill a spot in the heart parents can`t seem to find.

I believe using flash fiction gives one the opportunity to review our life and the stages of growth we inccur. What is true today will not be true tommorrow (next year ect ...).

NosiS, nice any personal highlights to turn your lifes transitions into flash fiction?

love,

yes, what was true in our youth fades away to a greater awareness as we mature. Lovely insights.

Thanks, juni.

I had a great aunt that died several years ago. She died of old age but it was the first time I personally dealt with death so I took it pretty hard. Sometimes I still feel her presence.
The flash fiction I wrote seems to parallel my life throughout all its transitions. No matter how frustrated I get and how much I feel that I'm not getting anywhere or learning anything, some way and somehow I manage to find that deep, inner feeling of my true worth and progression. In the past, I haven't often seen this worth but it's always there.

Thanks for sharing this.
