Where the neck meets the shoulder the pain is a boulder,i press with my finger, but the pain doth still linger, oh how can i purge this constant dull ache, if i reformed my body would the pain still retake? i cringe, i adjust, i cry, and i moan, but here on my shoulder the pain makes its home IP: Logged |

It might be a Capricorn rising thing. Try being a Taurus Sun on top of it. Painful.In general people of all signs store most of their tension up there, i think. Sounds like you need a good neck massage as much as I do. Nice poetic ramblings. I hear & feel you. IP: Logged |

Would you, could you apply some heat? Could you, would you, try a heat treat? Would you heat it with a stick on? Could you heat it with capsicum roll-on? Would you heat it with a water bottle Could you, would you with a throttle? A little bit A little hit a massaging percussive efflurage? Would you, could you try to beat? My local Y has a whirlpool hot tub with some great jets. And a $5 day pass for non-members... so your local Y might also. A good workout and whirlpool and then tons of bottled water to clean the impurities out of your system that the "massage" releases. Naxaproxisodium (non-name brand "Aleve") can help if absolutely necessary, but the exercise and then heat and massage of the whirlpool will allow your muscles to relax and your vertebrae to naturally fall back into place with some very light stretching. Pain comes when a bone is pressing on a soft tissue, nerve or vain etc or muscles pinch one of those because they are too tight. Just don't be shy about moving around and letting the jets massage all of your back and shoulders. You can also do sit-ups, push-ups, a hot bath and stretching. IP: Logged |
