The last paragraph was written to my girlfriend...

The "Sarah" one was to a friend whose boyfriend cheated on her.
(psst.... Her real name is not Sarah.)

The others, along with the other threads i posted here last night,
were all written a couple of nights ago
(when the cable, including the internet connection, went out, lol).
They are totally disconnected little paragraphs,
intended to be complete mini-works in themselves.

Thanks for reading!

Hey, FU!

future, did you see my poem "writer's block" ?? I know how you feel.

smoking a little pot helps me to get the juices flowing sometimes.

all this stuff is pot-induced...

i just start with an image, anything, and start writing,
just images or word combinations i like, without worrying if they are connected.

then i water the seeds; connect the dots

its all good.

show us what you have, future.

i know you have it, but maybe you hold back

just start anywhere.

you can do it!

Ha!: "All this stuff is pot induced."
I love it! It's been forever, but I definitely get cravings. So, every once in a while...

I think my writer's block is somehow related to sex. I'm not going for vulgarity here, but I know I can say it straight up to a scorp.

Everything I write ends up being about sex in one way or another. And I think about sex probably 80% of my waking hours. Weird thing is, I have total access, but... it's complicated. Anyway, this is a bit of a tangent, I know, but it's relevant to the discussion of my writer's block.

And mud... I'm noticing this theme in most of my writing lately and even in some dreams.

WTF??

I feel like an animal...

... all of which reminds me, yes, I did see your poem... interesting when we're discussing the writing/sex frustration ordeal.

I'll post my most recent in a sec. It leaves me far from satisfied, but it's a small step just to get something down.

I like these fragments, HSC. I enjoyed reading them. They are all very inspiring. I am moved by the final paragraph, the baby part, and the following is deeply introspective and on the verge of spiritual revelation...I hope I've put it right. I don't know how to describe exactly how I feel...

quote:
Somewhere between animal and angel, awkwardly daring great and independent things, there is the man. Discovering himself in the car park, beside the cereal (in the supermarket), or underneath a starless sky. Never taking the possibility of existence for granted. In him is safeguarded all the secrets of nature and supernature. Take care of him. Be always discovering him.
