She is amazing! And you what, she sang a song called 'For you'. Listen to that if you can, it's beautiful. And somewhere over the rainbow.IP: Logged |

Yes she has such a crystal clear quality to her voice.I read she died young too, such a tragedy, she did leave the world a wonderful gift though, that's for sure. This is the one that got me all choked up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYyQcQSqpbI IP: Logged |

Broken Dream, A very humble thank you... "Cherish your visions; cherish your ideals; cherish the music that stirs in your heart, the beauty that forms in your mind, the loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts, for out of them will grow delightful conditions, all heavenly environment; of these if you but remain true to them, your world will at last be built." Oh yes thats a great one too. There is such purity in her voice. I'm surprised you have never heard of her, she was based in the Us and Canada I think but then here in the uk and Ireland especially we love the acoustic singer/songwriters and folk music.Oh and the song called 'for you' is actually called 'songbird' lol Thats her most famous one here. Yes I remember the tune "song bird" Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac sings it, and maybe orginally wrote it too? not sure...but Eva's version is splendid and oh so sweet.. Thank you, thank you for telling me about her...It's not my usual genre of music (the folky stuff) but the way she sings, is very soothing...and sad in a way. IP: Logged |

Pearlty I find a similarity between your poems and mine, an air of detachment and verbally emotive, I think that has to do with our air sign influence.Excellent stuff IP: Logged |

A good line saves many a poem. A great line exalts many a poem. Who but Shakespeare could evoke a thumbsup with every line? And even then, the over-all effect may be a showy ostentatiousness. I enjoy simple poems with a few lines or words that pop.
