lately i have poetry oozing out of me every now and then. quite often i feel like i'm standing on the edge of precipice about to topple over. often i think it's sheer madness that overwhelms me and often it is sheer loneliness. this particular poem is very close to my heart (all of them are but this one even more so). it's about the connection i feel with this certain someone.Karmically Interdependant Sometimes I wonder what it is about you and me
That makes me run to you and you to me
Whenever our souls are blinded by desolation
And just can't see
Like the time you showed up at my door drenched to the skin from the rain
Your heart aching and hanging from your sleeve
Looking so scared I might ask you to leave
Or the time that I knocked on your gate
When I was feeling unloved and full of hate
Seems like whenever we run away from the bad bad world
We run towards each other
I wonder about this tie that binds us
Where did it all begin?
Why do we find each other in the most unlikely of places,
Amongst a sea of strange faces?
Maybe we met on a shore far ago,long away
Maybe there is a reason for the strangeness that is us
This familiar chord that we can both hear
Whether we are far away or near
Fills us with deja vu
Maybe this is what they call fate
I believe it might have started when we were four or eight
love n peace

thank you so much T! i was channeling an aquarian-pisces relationship..the conjoining of water and air can be a beautiful feeling
