Yes, we're fallen angels
Broken and bound in tangles.
Ever reaching so high,
toward the bright blue sky.

True, we've got eyes that see clearly
and hearts aching to be loved dearly.
True, we've got that silent knowing
and that upward bound growing.

Yes, we are learning to soar
to the place of pain no more.
One day our boundless flight
will light up the weary night.

Darkness will no longer imprison our lonely souls.
Freedom eternal, we've finally paid our tolls.
We will lay down our heavy steel shield and sword
in exchange for our weightless golden wings reward.

Until then, we're in training on Earth's battle field.
Our wills iron and strong, disable our yield.
Truth is when we stand tall
we become a guide to all.

Sweet victory will be attained,
when our hearts are no longer pained.
We've destroyed the toxic seed
of our sinful selfish greed.

Split souls, oh hear the heart beat.
Our hearts must break, we are incomplete.
Our souls must burn to melt together.
Joined, we've endured the tempest's weather.

We are done.
We have won.
Two have...
Become One.

My mask is off and now I surrender.
I'm the great fairy tale pretender.
My cold hard heart wouldn't let me believe
a prince would seek my soul to weave.

But now I want him to come rescue me.
I'm so worth the hunt don't you see.
I've got to have faith I am worth this great love,
truly a gift from the heavens above.

Now I see clearly I'm a princess child of God.
He'll guide my prince to me with staff and rod.
Joined we'll inherit his golden palace
and drink from the fount's eternal chalice.

My heart has now been split wide open.
I await for my prince's words unspoken.
My God you control the magical time
when two hearts meet to beautifully rhyme.
