Life's Course

Good and evil live side by side.
We all have the power to shift the tide.
Drifting left, then to the right.
Balance, balance with all our might.
Our life is like a boat.
We are trying to stay afloat.
Drifting, drifting without a care.
Sailing, sailing anywhere...
We don't ever know where will we go.
Hands off. Let our course be guided so,
by the Wise One, full of radiant light.
That destination is right, only right.
The storm is approaching.
Darkness is encroaching.
Courage is ours to gain.
Joy always follows pain.
Like a newborn child.
We are innocent and mild.
Empowered by might.
Euphoric in flight.
We have conquered fear.
Doves are here.
Taming our beasts is the cure
for making our spirits pure.
Now we can leave the sea.
To soar and simply BE.
