I entered it in a contest.

We'll see if I win.

EARTHLINGS is a feature length documentary about humanity's absolute dependence on animals (for pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and scientific research) but also illustrates our complete disrespect for these so-called "non-human providers." The film is narrated by Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix (GLADIATOR) and features music by the critically acclaimed platinum artist Moby .

Any word on the contest, Valus?

I read this poem on your blog and it is one of my favorites.

I don't think it won,
although it probably should have.

Another poem I wrote won a different contest,
and they sent me a novel signed by the author.

And five of my poems are being included
in a soon-to-be-published compilation.

Those are the only times I've submitted poems.
