You are the melody that speaks to me
When the whispers of the day fade away…
And I drift into the ethers of your magnetizing vortex
of unraveled
spirals..

that spins frantically, not wanting me to see what they contain within their coils
the colors that emanate beauty and catch my ‘I’ as they race by..

my hand reaches out trying to capture a piece
even if a tiny thread..

but before I get too close
I’m struck by an electric jolt
The reality dawns

I’m back in my bed..
