Your poetry and creation reply reminded me of a story. Not too long ago a poetry acquaintance of mine self-published his poetry. I wrote to congratulate him and to also tell him of the miraculous occurrences (currents) that he'll notice from being true to what one loves and following a calling that suits. Trusting in the natural rhythm of the universe- giving back and sharing. It's all very important to appreciate that during the writing/creating process. From what I know he went on to do very well.

and ahh! Muses.. I've had them, I've been one. They are astounding connections that rarely dissipate but rather grow more and more lovely with discovery over time.

There are certain motifs
you don't see coming

Such as a surprise thunderstorm
on a nonchalant summer afternoon

A spider scurrying across the lawn
missed by an inch
and thought not to step on

Friction and grit
wearing together long enough
only to dissolve passably

Pen chance and light
disclosing the finer
motions of life

First wobbly
then settling into a poised
smooth reality

Dilated love growing wildly
quenching each tundric verve
like a heart
pulsating since birth.

There is nothing
which clouds the path
rendering the day so overcast
as bitterness.

Colder than the eclipsed sun
whilst consuming hungrily,
its beautiful life-forms.

Let me always swim in truth
snap these strings in two
and hurriedly-
give them back to you.

Willingness in
wholes not halves

Acceptance in considerate
degrees of temperature

Alternating dalliances,
a simple thank you- or please

On and off day brilliance
sometimes saved, dumb-downed
for restful purpose

Balancing rather than assuming
situated latent worst case

Bellying up towards
intellectually spirited
heartfelt grace.
