Half sleeping
I feel your hands
begin to dance
wandering ever so gently
with such ease
as I stretch my arms above me

Like a cat basking in the sunshine
so comfortable and pleased
all is quiet besides the purring
and the few words whispered sincerely

It is so nice to be your everything
to be taken somewhere other worldly
lost and unhurried

As if time is nothing but a memory
and seemingly stops
for only us briefly

To have this is a gift
of senseless love
fulfilling every wish
I had once only dreamt of.
