cigar of life
Nothing left to live for,
Sweet idle words on your dung-dribbled tongue,
Are things I cannot egnore,
When all my songs are sung,
As caged canary never free,
As Tigress without her kill,
While Anglo Saxon Danish Kings unmerry,
Dwell in halls praising gods of fortune ill,
Puff, puff, puff on the cigar of life
It leads to it's inevitable end,
A cancer festering in its strife,
Like a puss-filled sore I cannot attend,
For it is one I cannot see,
And one I care not to as well,
Oh cruel Goddess Persephone,
Thou pompous ass Queen of hell,
My God I put you in the sky,
And you let yourself go under again,
Which you always have with your lie,
Your beauty like the moon to wane,
Oh give me the cigar of life,
I'll chase the dragon, puff it away,
The smoke to fill my lungs so rife,
The night to end my day....
