Parting ways each day-
with the blushing sunset
her colors range variant,
of prior tones cast
among swathing vehemence.

Far away they wait,
for stillness
from orphic moonlight.

Offering a few hours
of hemispheric shade,
for workers, lovers,
all songstresses, and mortals.

Beginning movement again-
chirping awake
within travailing
over-laid portals.
