Rousing the naked inner child
full of mystified forehead kisses
free and stoically wild

In mind's eye flight
lady bugs descend
spin and land
granting home-spun wishes
before fluttering en route again

Beneath one tiny wing
love is carefully tucked under
and carried away
destined for a vibrant resting place
so again the eyes may glint and smile
and the heart can soar forever while.
