here's to being grounded

Dreams are peculiar
I lived there once
high up in the clouds
always out of touch

my feet were left to dangle
over the wispy edge
constantly dipping my toes
in never-never land

gliding along
silver linings flashing
dancing in the moonlight
my realities never clashing

I lived in a dream once
never on my own
You were timing me
and then You brought me home
