Your interpretation of your poem referring to a soulmate made me think of a former couple in my neighborhood. One of only a few soulmate couples I've had the pleasure to know. They were lovely to observe and learn from. They ended up together 65 years or so, she passed on first, and I watched her husband mope around the yard for 6 months..I spoke to him when it was almost his time to go- I've never met a man so eager to pass on, but I imagine he missed her endlessly. The beautiful love they procured during their lives - there isn't even words for. Touched me deeply though- just knowing them.

I wish for you, the magical fulfillment of finding yours. It's brave to desire that..not because it's twinkly, romantic, or light- but rather it's a profound learning experience between two.
