Song of the Soul
--Swami Kriyananda

I heard Your flute high on a cloud
Your call I can't resist
Oh, Let me come and play with You
We'll scatter music with the dew
And sun the morning mist.

I heard You piping on a hill
All else I've set aside
Come, Let us dance the mountain peaks
We'll skip with breezes on the creeks
And soar the valleys wide.

Your Flute has called me to the fields
Now, I've no place to live
Don't send me back, rejected Friend
Whatever I call mine must end
All that I am, I give.

I hear Your flute in every tree
In every flower and stream.
An sweetest melody of 'ore
A song that Heaven's joy recalls
Here, in my Heart, You sing.

Ayelet.... This was the song/poem I told you about before. I found it yesterday afternoon while going through some papers. I had handwritten the words from a cassette of songs. The melody and words had such a crush. Even now, I can remember. (It was from 1979.)

EDIT-- I found it on youtube! It's recorded under a different title.

(music) Krishna's Flute (Kriyananda, Year of Ananda Music) [3:42] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zl0BsGJQAv4

^ (I forgot to check the email notif box.)
But remembered on this other song/poem I transcribed. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum17/HTML/003062.html

^ I thought it was earlier this year. I spent time yesterday going through 4 back pages of your threads/poems and couldn't find the place where I said I'd bump. Thought I had 'bookmarked' the place, but couldn't find it in my favs. *sigh*

Now, if I find the poem, I'll link these.

Your into Buddhism rather than Hinduism, though. (correct?) The Ananda (Yogananda) are also into Jesus Christ. Babaji met Christ in a cave high in the Himalayas (I think that's how the story went).

For me personally, Energy is energy. Christ is Beautiful Christ. We cause 'separation' when we splice into different dominations WITHOUT respecting the ultimate meeting-ground within. Sacred Space, with US being the Temple that this Spirit inhabits.

We are the Same when we meet in that Spiritual-Union place where all Boundaries are porous and Energy Exists-- while we have the experience of being just-ourself in the midst of Others.

That's what 'Be Ye Perfect' is... Be Mindful of 'Christ-BE-within' you. That 'spot' is constant and eternal. Never changes, always fascinating. -- No matter what language you use to try to describe how to define borders of religious beliefs, THE-CHRIST (Love) transcends. No borders are possible in That overwhelming-Presence. Borders are powerless against Light. SupremeDissolver... We fall as deadmen in our little ego-mind, and become aware of Spirit. Still, we are Allowed the Witness of such a thing happening outside and inwardly~~ to remember who we are, and Who we are, and Where we Belong Together.

Worship is a Key to getting there. Devotion, with one's WHOLE heart, ENTIRE identity and beingness.

This next song, I can apply it in an inter-religious way. A few of the photos are catholic, some Christian, others I see as Eastern with palms of hands together touching forehead. The lyrics are international. We must seek God-Within with humbled focused direction inward, to Experience a Divine Connection to outward. When you go inside, there's a simultaneously switch to something that is equally valid Everywhere, and in Everyone.

I watched Pope Francis participate in an Inter-religion ceremony in New York City at the Ground-Zero Memorial for 9-11-2001 attack on US Soil. There were the Leaders of a diversity of Faiths there, praying for the victims who lost their lives on that day.

Ground-Zero becomes the Birthing Point. All were humbled, all respected each other's expression on-behalf of what happened. Each touched God (even the Buddhist) in her or his own way--- and this seeded Something New (never happened before) in the Ethers of inter-relationships, AND the honoring of Sacred Spaces.

(topic) Raw: Pope Leads Prayers at GroundZero (AP; assortment of prayers Interreligious, Sept 25, 2015, NYC) [2:12] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPxEMlqW9yo

I've lived all my life with wanting to See something like that happen... And there it was!!! 'by chance' ON TV. Had I been too busy, I would have missed it. I 'happened' to be here, turned on TV and saw it for myself.

I don't know if people realize 'what happened' in that Historic Moment, at a significant Religious Celebration time for many faiths... and at Solstice, and waiting for Final Eclipse (tomorrow/day-after) of special tetrad moons.

This was soooo mystically and physically amazing that all these elements came together at once. There is something Larger in Operation outside of ourselves, impacting Everything.

Powerful Times. I pray we survive it...

(music) We Bow Down (lyrics; view pics from persp of Inter-religious expressionism, incl Nature. 'ThisPlace' is innerHeart.) [4:48] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tblhqgHfVrI

Thank God, Pearlty, for little treasures kept and found.

I don't usually turn on television in the morning, but I did today. (I wasn't feeling well from a gastricflu-thing that's been passing through, (literally *HUGE-LOL!!!*) my body during this past week. It's actually the evil-Kingdom's version of instant-cleanses , and great for losing those couple-of-pounds I had gained last month that I wasn't feeling at all comfortable with.

O giosh Mirage, is there nothing sacred kept private anymore???? Apparently not here, and not at all with me. You'll get the straight-poop here! O gosh, where my Gatorade? hellp!!! If I have to say so myself? "I'm too much!!!"

Anyways!!! *glug, swallowing*

On the catholic channel this morning, I was soooo entirely repulsed by the talk I heard in the early morning program. This guy (who looks JUST LIKE PeeWee Herman, ~I swear it) is there with this proud arrogant condescending look and attitude (looking quite constipated to me, perhaps? *oh no more bathroom??--- pause excuse me!!!*)

*Ahem* Now, what was I saying? ... oh yeah.

There's a whole 'movement' in the church that is REALLY trying to shut-down what Pope Francis started. And these talk about aggressively identifying church-attenders who are NOT in agreement with their 'evil' dogmatic plan, and outing those-- at least, socially ostracizing and trying to embarrass them.

Am I Busted?????!!!!!!

Seems it might not a matter of "if" but "when" I have to stop attending my church services (that I have been since July).

"Astrologers" in church (in their evil-empire views) need to be shut-down or make them shut-up. I don't think I can make that compromise. They will make going to church and taking communion something that people of good conscience can't do anymore. And isn't THAT a crying shame, to eliminate people with High Values and a Conscience from your midsts. O watta foolish lot of wasted efforts!

I had thought a few months ago about the prophecies of Nostradamus, and how the catholic church was supposed to be destroyed by 1999 or so? At first I thought, Wow, the Church got spared. She's safe!! But now with this resurgence of the evil-dogmatic beings trying to split the church and fire the Pope, I think that THIS will be its Ending, finally.

Pope Francis and his Vision MAY just be their LAST Beautiful choice. They "voted" for him??? So that HAS to be a declaration (from their spirit) that they unconsciously wanted what he has to give? ... Oh well *sigh* If the institution is facing its end and destruction?, then God planned a Beautiful Final-Exit.

Time will tell....

There IS a Resurrection... but what is evil about the church has to be cleansed. Maybe God will take it alllll the way down. The evil I see is in the faces and narrow-closed-minded attitudes and expressed-opinions of men like 'PeeWee'. It's absolutely unchristian, anti-Christ, and Anti-Love and Inclusiveness.

And isn't it interesting how MOST of this falls and focusses on the sharing of a simple small white Communion Wafer?

One of my most rabid Passionate Loves in my life is the alchemical Mystery behind the Mystical Body-of-Christ (meaning, all-of-us together as One, sharing and Loving one another). There's just something crazy-exciting and wonderful about that.

Whoever were saying that the Church was part of the Antichrist???? Well, I didn't believe that until I 'saw' it so plain since the Pope's Philadelphia & Bishop-Conference visit. It's not the bones and ritual of the Church--- It's the harsh closing-down fleshly egoic condemning and controlling attitudes. The Mass, and Christ is so Beautiful elegant and pure in its contrast. All that 'other stuff' has got to be purged. It's not Christ--

Never give up hope though.... It might not happen in my lifetime that the Church gets its Mission on target again (and I believe in Miracles and hope I'm mistaken about its demise), but I think Pope Francis has been a seed. His ideals may go down into the ground because of these evil-doers, but Good will have been planted and eventually down the road perhaps bring forth Good Fruit, Right Attitudes and Thoughts that can save us and the planet.

For those of us who crave World Peace...
Prayers for them.

This is one of my top favorite theme songs...

Hi Mirage,

I know the other day when we were corresponding you mentioned about the Gasto-bug problem. I'm surprised it's still lingering. Watch for dehydration, I waited too long once (2 weeks) ended up with a visit to the hospital for I.V. fluids and anti-nausea medicine. I was so weak, lethargic, and dizzy, even while pushing plenty of fluids on myself at home. Perhaps rm can prepare you some clear broth if you have any bouillon there? It always tastes better if someone else makes it.

Also I have teas here for just about every ailment known to mankind and for drinking for pleasure as well. I have a Scorpio male friend who got wind that I liked tea, and for some holiday he bought me bags and bags of boxes of various teas. I would be glad to share, as I honestly will never get through all of these before they lose potency or expire. The digestive ones you may find particuliary helpful. Just say the word, if you'd like them, and I'll get them out after the weekend. Feel better soon.

Sorry to hear about church and the direction and decisions it's heading towards. I know for awhile there you were enjoying going. I totally sympathize with your writings-feelings above and see where you are coming from.

Thanks sooo much for everything, Pearlty! You are most-generous.

This afternoon the gastro thing has finally calmed down. I know how depleting this can be to the body's electrolytes. Almost got a severe sustained cramp in my calf-leg muscle yesterday as I awoke-- omg! so not-cool. But as of right now, I may be able to say that by tomorrow morning I should feel fine from it. Nausea finally got in-check too this afternoon. So, thank you much for your kind nurturing concerns...

Rm?...hmmm, he's not-so-great a nurturer. If he "thinks" about it, then it counts as though he had done it, in his own ways of caring. You know the phrase, "It's the 'thought' that counts?" Yeah, literal for him. That's about as far as his physical-serving has gone in the past. Just not able, and awkward-feeling about it.

And it would be great if you want to share some of your teas with me? Hurray!! The colder weather should be settling-in, and this would be soooo comforting and nice.

Again, thank you. {{ }}

oh ugh.... that was premature! I'm back to the immodium and Gatorade today. I had called my church ride this morning to decline, and I'm so glad I did. I remember how in dealing with my kids growing up that you don't declare them cured until 24 hours AFTER actually feeling better.

So I'm sitting here typing feeling all shaky and looking like an uncooked pie crust-- sheesh.

And I've found time and time again, that you can just knock yourself out for other people, but that doesn't mean they're going to Value what you did for them.

That's an extra-reason why I support you, Pearlty (knowing some of what's happening in your part of the world). People will not-knowingly just take and take and take, and never realize or know what (or even that) you added to their life in a significant way.

I admire and like to recognize those who work behind the Inspirers and Leaders, the back-scene "Martha's" who give themselves selflessly (most times without due pay) to others' work, in order that the world can appear as orderly as it be and flows.

Without the so-thought 'insignificant' contributions that some make into our general lives, things wouldn't work or be right, and the general-ones would wonder why.

Whether it's children who volunteer little unseen chores around a play yard or 'hood, workers in the home or office, or like the refreshing in inspirations and Thoughts--- These are the little-Treasures in our world, the petals on the flower that we walk by and not realize how much that counted (except if they be NOT there).

Thanks Pearlty (and everyone) for Caring Energies, thoughts/prayers.

Oh!~~ After having gone through preliminary pages before, last night I began reading LG's Gooberz. omg, She hits the core of matters before ending her first piece in Canto 1. ---- Thanks for sending me her book, Pearlty. This is truly excellent!

You're very welcome, thanks for the kind words. Also for reminding me how important self-care and 'me' time is. I indulged this past weekend; a cozy fire, music, my hot tub, caught up with friends, remembered how much I love my femininity- had some innocent flirting , and lastly attended a clam bake-where I met an 87 year old German woman and spent hours talking with her- she was very interesting. I needed all of that and finally feel refreshed.

Sending some healing thoughts your way, hopefully your tummy flu bug is once and for all squashed. Take it easy and feel better soon.
