I watch alone the first rays of the sun
I’m looking a purple rose opening its petals
As it grows, as it shines
As it is a memento of beauty
Where seconds lasts eons
Of an emotion that’s now only mine

I see her laughing, it echoes a song
It echoes a peaceful memory from my childhood
The few I remember well
Like the days I lived on the hills
Where the city sounds were just a whisper
Like the sound of buzzing bees

I should not seek an eternity
The forever ever after doesn’t suite us at all
To satisfy our youthful hearts
May some precious hours of your time be enough
To please you tenderly
While kisses and pious feelings start

I watch her battle and rattle
Against the world on her own
Some may praise and some idolize
And some may put it on the news
I simply thank her and let her know
A little gesture does wonders to us and them

As I a rigid soul, frail and scarred
Whose live has been well isolated
I feel like a human once again
If a god is present, between the stars
I pray to you for her happiness
And to keep glowing her Indian soul

May that child of yours can grow happily
With all the wisdom you impart
As the moonlight sonata is being heard
And to never lose the feeling of the chords
And to never forget your kindness
Nor the tales, nor the poems, nor the love

May your words that pierce me and others
Do you not fear to share them
Do not try to hide that voice within
Powerful as the rolling thunder
That roars in these days of December
Those are your words you write

And for every daydream I now feel
And every melody I may think
And all the words I may write
And all the playfulness I now seek
May it be real or mind tricks
It’s all yours now my dear

Like a flower that blossoms
I’ll take care of you
For a day, for the rest of our days
Rest from your past days of sorrow
And sleep well on my side
As this dreamy night ends on a C note

That is a lovely love poem, LF DX. Very romantic. Also emotionally profound.

Get enough of these type and quality of poems you've written in past months, and you could eventually publish your work in a book.

Nice job, LFDX!!
