A whisper,
It slightly took me afloat,
While I wondered below,
Where have you been my Lord,
Am I too piteous to be seen by you,
Is my prayer from a bunch of ordinary,
I want to see you Lord,
I demand to see you,
Once before I submerge in you,
I am your eternal slave,
In the holy nectar of piousness,
In the philtre of Love,
Take my hand and guide me,
Show me lanes that are hidden,
Maybe I will breath through you,
And find ways rumbling down my skin,
Scorching my eyelids with purity so much,
That I live ten thousand lives in one,
Let's unify my Lord,
Let's live again to the tenderness of souls,
That take birth everyday,
I'll find you Lord,
You'll not be hidden for too long,
Not now,
Not anymore,
I have decoded your deceptions,
And written my own formulae of love.

This prayer is, in a way, less passionate in an earthly way, more devotional and spiritual, even though you clearly state you want to unify with God. You ask the one to reveal itself to you, yet you show independence while writing "I have decoded your deceptions \ And written my own formulae of love". It may mean you want the lord to be one with you, yet you don't give up on your individuality.I love best the closing lines of this poem, showing you may be a slave to your God, but you also remain a free, individual spirit.

Beautiful, Thequeen (is).

Ayelet
You're talking about the ego there, correct?

I've heard religious easterners talking about the "problem" of having an ego, and loving on God.

Why wouldn't God want you(ego) to know that He's God and to just plain-enjoy his Presence. Gently, what's 'wrong' with being your self? or A self. You need a 'self' in order to have the awareness that you're having a relationship with God?

God needs God. God meets God.

Hi there Mirage
I don't know exactly how the human ego differs from one's divine spirit. I guess the ego relates to one's psyche, which is a small portion of the spirit. The spirit existed uniquely before she reincarnated in a body, and every time she reincarnates she gets a totally new ego to evolve from. I think many speak about eradicating the ego, but I connect more with harnessing it to divine will rather than throwing it away altogether.

And I believe we are already part of the divine without giving up our special spark.

Thank you both for reading. Ayelet yes, this talks of ego of a human who had been feeling neglected for so long. Thus the ego feels now it's time for lord to unify with me, I have seen and understood different forms of Lord now lord has to understand different forms of me.

Mirage you are also right, the devotees of God in eastern scriptures had the right to see Lord in the way they wanted, because in East we have a totality of 33 crores God and Godesses.

Thank you both again
