Oh, ye mighty prayers Won't save me from this despair I'm getting frailer, I'm getting colder The sun can shine but my soul cannot And the heat of the city, the broken city And the claims of the desperate countrymen Tired from living in an imposed poverty They left me with a burden I can't mantain Yes, I can whine and complain like every mortal man I can cry some tears like a broken father I can swallow my pride like a tired urban worker But the soul searching left a mark I can't erase The worldwide sickness, the global warming The south american illness, the democracy's sinking The lack of action, the need to make reactions All the symptoms of a depression on the rise Let me watch the world burn my friend Untill it dies and revives once again Cause there's no eternal darkness on the earth Cause the sun still shines for all of us

... As long as the sun still shines, and people can find that they can touch and hold the other's hand in the blind of darkness, then they can rest with assurance knowing there is still the spark of human life within themselves, within the other person.... human love. Where Love is found, we can gather to rebuild under the rays of Hope once again. Love One Another (music) Love Is The Answer (England Dan, John Ford Coley, lyrics) [4:43] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdxpxX4mjfI IP: Logged |
