Seeking

I would love to walk peacefully
on the ground wherein embers lie
and to understand the why
of every question that has crossed my mind
while waiting inside
the house I used to know so well
from within
living the dream
later to dream that I'm alive.
Isn't that a show?
I thought I'd always know
the difference between illusion and a lie.
It's not easy anymore.
And still I ponder.
Is there a truth greater than this?
I seek, I breathe.
I seek to meaningfully breathe
while telling tales
greater than myself.
It doesn't sound real.
I just had to say it.
"Better believe what you say," said the fool.

I always love your work, Ayelet. You're Deep!... quite deep. {{ }}

... Holding all your tales, in {space of wordless expression}. They are valuable. YOU are Valuable.

The thing is that I'm very identified with this poem, because somehow that how I'm feeling with some of the things that are happening to me in these past weeks.

Great one Aye

Discovering sight and insight, your poem takes on life and the unbridled questioning of mystery..

This is how it usually is. We try to discover the truth by subjecting us to the wildest dangers of life, imagining they are momentarily there so becoming comfortable with the pain only to realise the truth doesn't come of it skin easily.

I wonder whether we ususally subject ourselves to danger in order to discover truth. I guess we have to go out of our comfort zone, but whether it is always dangerous or not, I do not know. One would say it is dangerous to live, but that is our only choice.

Ayelet! You may have helped open my eyes to a new distinction for me... regarding "risk", comfort-zones, and dangerous-undertakings.

There's a difference in taking risks 'within' a comfort-zone, as risks doing something that could possibly have put me in great jeopardy and been dangerous for me to do.

* shudders *

Comfort-Zones, and Dangerous-Undertakings ..... Risk. They are more-clearly TWO different kinds of 'risks'...? {ty}

Hi Mirage! I didn't think of comfort zone as a kind of risk, but I guess, if I understood you correctly, there is a point to it...

Thanks Randall
