Come by and sleep honey
Let’s forget the ordeals of our town
Dream about journeys to the fiords
Where we see just the ocean and the stars

I’ll kiss your cheek baby
Something tender for the night
We did too much already
It’s time to turn off the lights

And the echoes of the jazz
Comes right to our ears
The swinging mods they know it
So they swing for you and me

The night feels so calmly
As the soft beats of your heart
I love to have a part
Of your time, too short for many

And I’ll close my eyes baby
As we embrace one more time
I hope to be here tomorrow
And not in my room, alone

It is a beautiful, streaming poem, and the way you end it is a bit surprising, showing it may all be a dream after all, all this present moment with her.
