I was on my way home, through the ravaging wind, I could sense the danger of the impending storm, the clouds covering the wholeness of the sky and the bolts of thunder coming up from one point to another, signaling the start of the tempest, the worst that this country has since the nineties, and I ran through the streets like a child playing ball in the park, just ignoring the apocalyptic landscape around me. That’s how my life’s been lately, feeling the veil of danger coming to me, yet not giving a damn about what possible things can happen to this already wounded soul, it’s actually funny for me, it gives me some kind of thrill that makes me forget the worries, the longings, the inner battles and thoughts of revolution and revolts, that’s the way life works for me, walking into hurricanes with the right amount of fear, and the huge injection of adrenaline to make it all the way to my destination, wherever that may be, in this case, my home.

And the rain starts falling, as the music of the night, slowly pouring on me like little hammers, the sound of the rolling thunder comes, and somehow I feel alive, I grin and move forward – “let it rain gods, let it rain and flood the country if you want to, cause I’m moving ahead” – I said to the skies, I didn't fear what mother earth would do, even more now that she’s sick and regurgitating tornadoes, sweating oil and puking filth across the rivers of the globe.

At 12’o clock, I finally reached the brown gates of my house, all soaked in water, smiling from the simple yet dangerous adventure I had, after passing through broken trees and cables… quite an experience it was, didn’t care the yelling from my mum and sister, I had fun, and that’s all I needed lately, to have fun.

Yeah, I need to have fun more often...
