Under the crimson moon, I’m standing at the gate Of abandoned dreams and imposed fates I open the door, I sit under the apple’s tree And I eat the snake, now the devil’s on me I’m his vessel to create a brave new world Like the ancient Babylon, like the stories of oldUnder the crimson moon, I let my woman go I had no shame, I went far and low Her wings were broken, I had her tamed The animal in me ruled in vain I forgot the freedom that love must possess It shouldn’t be so tight, or you make it a mess Under the crimson moon, I once killed a man The one that was my good old friend Jealousy and hatred I had for what he had His Coin and goodwill, made me despise him so bad Under the gunpoint he said, “My brother, envious and vile” “Your life will be condemned now through the miles” Under the crimson moon, the world has turned red Blood is on the landscapes, I wish I was dead But I won’t be content, till I become the king The lord showed me the future, in the land of the dreams All will be mine if I control the people’s minds And let them know, the cross is tainted with crimes Under the crimson moon, all will be mine

Here is one musical artist's darker rendition of a song, whose expression you may like, LFDX. (music) By the Waters of Babylon (William Butler, Arcade Fire, lyrics) [3:45] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-AF_6uo1H8 Here's the other classical version performed as a canon (or round),
I'm posting this man's live performance to present you with more ideas on ways to write and present your music yourself, recording your original works. (music) By The Waters of Babylon(Zion) (composer Philip Hayes 1737-1797, artist David LaMotte, acapella, layering machine) [4:15] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUHh51em6Lw Here's yet another version of the same song, using same method, and using powerful images as illustration... the lines of art here are just amazing and captivating. The mood, the music, the voice, the optics... so well done! (music) By the Waters of Babylon (posted by foxxvixx) [1:52] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBy3sdubbmQ IP: Logged |
