I thought I could lose
If I played the game
I did what I believed
The end was just the same
I don’t know your people
I barely recall your name
You brought the questions

The dream of a lover
Did left me insane
I brought out the moondance
The song was just the same Go and seek the safety
Leave me behind
To the world of sweetness
Which I couldn’t find
I’m cashing the rewards
The fortune and fame
You can have the heaven
But the problems are just the same I had no excuses
There’s no one to blame
I could have gambled for victory
And to avoid this shame
Don’t need the pardon
It all will be the same
We could be poles apart
But the feeling is just the same We could have been together
