Feel the midnight frenzy in the polluted streets
It’s a well needed blitz of joy
Misfortune had took out the pleasure
We got too many dark daysHere the danger and disaster
They take a needed backseat
The misfits dance and revolt
With the mighty rock in the streets
Call the mamas and the papas, the children of the past
To remind them that the spirit ain’t that dead
Tomorrow the work is heavy, no time to rest
Well I’d rather have fun instead
The ballerinas and businessmen
They forget where they stand
Nobody here is discreet
While we rock in the streets
You don’t need to play it rough
You don’t need a programmed faith
You can be both an angel and a devil
Here we are to rock n’ roll
Well the crisis can make you, so sad and blue
But the desire to change it’s up to you
Forget about the prude ones, they’ll come here soon
There’s no way to repel the dance
For the youngsters poor and lonely
For the rich and filthily happy
And the ones that can’t fit
Time to rock in the broken streets
Rock n roll today
Revolution is today
