It's a new song I've been working, it's about finally leaving someone behind, someone that caused me a lot of damage for the sake of the music, a soulmate. It's finally over, I'm moving on... I've just found out after sending this post about the vilanelle, interesting to see the way how the verses of poems are being put.The full moon will hit on my 7th tomorrow, close to my nMoon. I want to record the first session for my album, this wednesday, let's see how it goes. IP: Logged |

Every time I tried to climb the mountaintop
You laughed and pushed me off the ledge
What’s the point to leave my soul in ruins?
And push me to the ******* edge I’ve never felt so hurt by someone

So much invested for this tragedy

Your song is truly a gift to read - each fragment has resonated with me so deeply ever since I first read the lyrics. I would love to hear the melody that goes along with it some day!I have only recently started to song-writing myself, but I have been writing poetry and fiction for many years. At the moment I am slowly converting all of my past written works to lyrics, while trying my hand at some new ones. What instruments do you play? Are you a vocalist as well? Great, enjoy the magnificent art of songwriting, it's quite the pleasure!!So far the bass, guitar, harmonica, drums and some keyboards, I'm mostly self-taught. I've learn it all to help me with the songwriting, to know more or less what I want in my songs. And in november I'll be releasing my solo record, so... good times are coming. IP: Logged |
