To return to the place of uncertain pain
to return to where nothing made sense
To return to a time when I doubted myself
To return to memories torn and tense
I needed to go there, I needed to see
The light in the darkness in that sliver of me
I needed to face down the fractured recollection
I needed to reconsider my bruised and wounded reflection
I stood in full glory, finally home in my skin
A measure of lightness behind my twinkling grin
I spoke without hesitation, clear and in control
I remembered, and reclaimed a piece of my soul
I found my rhythm as the circle came ‘round
I finally owned the pulse that breathed life to this ground

Beautiful, especially the last few lines worked in flow and love the evocative sense where you decipher how you reclaimed your soul.

I feel they describe the same resolving atmosphere. So much pain... yet so much cleansing. Starting over.
