I yearn to walk the mellow road
where the weather's no concern
A day without ever-present storm clouds
where I have no urge to scream and turn
Down towards the insanity of my life
and the chaos of the pain
I would love to bring about the calm
that comes after the rainI linger in the silence
of the imagined air serene
It brings such a burst of energy
when hopeful sunbeams can be seen
The day that I can visualize
it may come along my path
I need to believe there's life beyond
this ever-present wrath ------------------
