Does anyone know the meaning of the word kabala (I mean the etymology of the word)? I live in the county of Kavala (written Kabala in Greek)..I'm just curious to see if there are any connections between the Greek and the Hebrew word.. Thanks.IP: Logged |

Stella"Kabalah (also referred to as "Quabalah, Kabala,Cabala", etc.)means "to receive". It is a theory on how the Creator created the Universe. A study of Secret Tradition reveals that the Creator had to work with was numbers, letters and mathematical symbols. Kabalah theory correlates to Einstein's theory of relativity, that all matter is "energy recreated". This ancient theory was carried over from the Old Testament to the New Testament. The Gospel according to St. John begins with Chapter One "IN THE BEGINNING" was the Word, and the Word was with God"... Larry White "The word "Kabalah" literally means "to receive". Karin Kabalah Center I did not find any connection between Kabalah and Kavala. Jakie

Hello there theFajita(3) Tradition tells us that the Qabalah was sent to man by God through His(Her) Archangels Metatron and Auriel (also rendered Uriel). I'm not sure if that is TRUE.. but I think it makes a great story... But I have to say.. there is a part of the Me of Me that buys it! But I guess I have a "thing" about Angels. At least that's what one of my friend's tells me. Peace and Light... A IP: Logged |
