Hi All,

I would like to request some insight from someone with a background in Tarot. Please let me know if I am posting this on the wrong venue or if there is a Tarot message board I should go to.

I have been reading Tarot cards for a few years but I have not had a card show up in as many spread as recently. I usually read my own cards for meditation or to gain insight into specific situations at work or in other dealings. I like to do a year overview in January to get a basic feeling for the months themes and so forth.

In any event, the Magician has been drawn in 6 of my last 7 readings. Being a major Arcana card, I know that this holds some significance to my environment or life question. What is different is that it has been cast as the first card 4 times (3 celtic cross spreads and one 3 card spread all in row over the past two weeks) and once as the self card and once as the crowning card about 3 weeks ago.

I know the traditional meaning of the card, but what I am wondering is if there is something else that the "unknown" is trying to tell me?

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it!

BTW, one other thing to add:

When I drew the Magician again today in the 3 card spread (Concerning the direction of my life: Present, near future, future) I also reshuffled to obtain a nine card spread for clarification.

To the left of the Magi was the 3 of Swords and to the right was the Ace of Wands. Last January, when I drew the 12 month overview, the 3 of Swords had been the theme for September and the Ace of Wands was drawn for the month of October.

Hmmmmmm?

Did you want me to move this string to Pilgrim's Progress where La-Tee-Da can see it? She is our resident Tarot master.

Hi Pidaua,
This is what I have come up with...

I think the Three of Swords is a betral that you have done to your self,
or a problem that you have caused your self...

The magician means only you have the tools to fix this problem... (power)
(you are the magician in all of the card spreads...Take charge...miracles are possible)

The ace of wands is you have the enthusiasm
to help you as well as the power.

You will fix it if you use that enthusiasm.
Ace of wands is also an assurance of things
going your way.

Hi Randall,

Yes, please move the string to Pilgrim's Progress. I would really appreciate La-Tee-Da's take on the matter. I just can't believe the frequency of the Magi.

Thanks again.

Hi Mary,

Thanks for the insight. September was definetly a hard month for this Sag. I went through a major move, got into a car accident and had to lay off a friend, which wasn't really a friend after all. One of my good friends and colleagues was devastated as his old and true friend was killed in a car accident at the age of 45. It was a hard month, but I think that things will begin to look up...gotta keep positive.

Take Care!!!!

Hi La-Tee-Da,

I was wondering if you could offer me a bit of advice about what I posted on the first day of this thread regarding the number of times the Magi has shown up in my readings.

Thank you!!
