hi there, Aselzion and everyone in this thread.

what do you all think of Cruithne, earth's so-called "second moon". here are a couple of links if you're not familiar with it:
http://www.astro.queensu.ca/~wiegert/3753/3753.html

and
http://burtleburtle.net/bob/physics/cruithne.html

it sure does make a beautiul pattern in its jaunt around the solar system. and it seems a bit of a mystery rock...

Aselzion, do you have any thoughts on this one?

Greetings...

I took a quick look at the material you posted and think that it will require many years of study and research to obtain any astrological information of practical value.

I find it a very popular and frankly disturbing trend amongst modern astrologers to start adding all sorts of flotsam and jetsom (Chiron, the asteroids etc.) to nativities, when I have yet to see any infomation gained from them that cannot be discovered by a thorough, practical, working knowledge of what I call the BASICS: the planets, signs, houses and aspects. This is not to say that they have no place in astrology... merely that from what I can see a good understanding of the BASICS, is far more valuable and practical, than cluttering up the chart with secondary factors that have not had the benefit of many, many decades of solid research and application. And I also know that Linda felt much the same way from conversations we had during my time with her in Cripple Creek.

That being said... I do feel that since there are 12 signs, there should be 12 individual ruling planets, for the reasons I stated in my article. According to the pattern, it would appear that the new rulers, should be transplutonian. And, I always bear fully in mind that I may be 100% wrong. I simply wanted to present the results of some of my own spiraling into the nature of aspects, particularly that of the Inconjunct.

In older astrology the term Inconjunct was applied to BOTH the 30 degree aspect and the 150 degree aspect, and they certainly ARE intimately connected as you will see if you take the time to draw out the 12 pointed star pattern that I described in the article.

Thank you agin for presenting those links, and as you asked my opinion, it is simply this... time will tell!

As always I am "the opinionated astrologer".

Bright Blessings...

hello aselzion,

i drew out the star patterns (albeit on the backside of a report about polymer semiconductor WORM memory, not horoscope wheels). honestly, i started getting dizzy as the angles got smaller. i also drew one wheel with all the angles within it, i liked the nice 3D effect

hey!

the circle of life?!?!

please toss a few more bones . . .

thanks!

aphrodite

p.s. some after thoughts . . . something about being connected, comprehension within reach with certain angles, disparate understandings, and being freely open without depending on something else . . . balance . . . infinite interconnectness . . . hmm

btw, i love all these exercises you give us!

Greetings...

Great thoughts Mighty A.

In terms of the exercises, well.. I think we learn more when we try to do things ourselves.

I try not to dole out any homework that I haven't undertaken at some point along the way.

Keep up the good work!

Blessed Be...
A

P.S. In terms of the Circle of Life.. is that not what the zodiac is?

P.P.S. With the possible exception of Any thoughts on why that is the only sign represented by an inanimate OBJECT rather than an entity?

Aselzion, I am the biggest goofball in the entire world.

Before, I did not read this string well enough during the time, and I didn't know what was going on, but now that I have read this, I really think you've nailed something on the head.

Something about your system clicks with me, and my inner voice tells me that this WILL be the new system for future astrologers.

In my opinion the sign rulers are UTTERLY accurate. I can feel it, you've opened up a Spiritual can of worms, and people will soon begin to understand that, but the only problem Aselzion is that your system is not quite done yet, you've got to look more into it, because there are a lot of things that are still missing.

I'm sure all the information will be given to you in due time. I really feel that the Ancients used the same exact system, but their system was much more HIGHLY advanced. I can feel it, I know this system deep down in my heart, this is what the Ancient civilizations used. I know it.

P.S. I'm wearing an Amythst crystal near my heart chakra, and it's giving me an extra psychic boost. Jupiter is the true ruler of Pisces. During the Piscean Age did we not experience an undeniable expansion in population? Or the fact that organized religion became predominant? Or the fact that our knowlegde has increased througout the centuries?

You're on the right path Aselzion, please keep going. It will take you a while, but this system will be used by future astrologers. I can feel it. I think I'm going to keep wearing this crystal, it's really helping me out.

I am a Piscean, and I do feel that I'm ruled by Jupiter.

Aselzion, do me a favor and look into Saturn ruling Aquarius, and Uranus ruling Capricorn, something tells me there is a secret there waiting to unfold. After all we're supposedly living in the Aquarian Age, and now if Saturn rules Aquarius what does that MEAN exactly for our future?

Hey Star...

Thanks for the vote of confidence and the advice... I will add it to my ever growing list of Things To Do...

I know that that was only the beginning, and there is alot more spiraling to be done, but I will get to it in time.

Once the job sceanrio is all settled, I'll have a wee bit more time... I think!?!

Blessed Be...

I looked at the wheel yesterday, and I saw what you were saying, and it's quite eery.

If you start on 5th house Leo, and go backwards, you see that they're in perfect order.

This is very interesting, Aselzion.

I just read this thread the other day...

Here are some sites, but I couldn't really find more in depth information and possibly not as relevant:

http://cura.free.fr/decem/10kengil.html

http://www.novareinna.com/constellation/libradecans.html

The Roman goddess of wisdom, medicine, the arts, dyeing, science and trade, but also of war. As Minerva Medica she is the patroness of physicians. She is the daughter of Jupiter. In the temple on the Capitoline Hill she was worshipped together with Jupiter and Juno,
with whom she formed a powerful triad of gods. Another temple of her was located on the Aventine Hill. The church of Santa Maria sopra Minerva is built on one of her temples. Every year from March 19 - 23 the Quinquatria was held, the primary Minerva-festival. This festival was mainly celebrated by artisans but also by students. On June 13 the minor Quinquatrus was observed.

Minerva is believed to be the inventor of numbers and musical instruments. She is thought to be of Etruscan origin, as the goddess Menrva or Menerva. Later she was equated with the Greek Athena.

Greetings...

Thank you for this post. It contains much that is thought provoking. And much of what you say about Minerva really is resonant with what we know of Libra.

I have recently been able to purchase Carl Payne Tobey's work: The Astrology of Inner Space, in which he advocates beginning the circle of the Zodiac with Leo. He counts from both the clockwise, and counter clockwise patterns, and discusses what he calls Mate Signs, which are simply the two signs that were both ruled by the same planet in Ancient times, and he joins as mates Leo and Cancer, the Sun and Moon.

I can't say that I am in complete accord with his system, but he does reach some similar conclusions about the allocation of new rulers when counting Clockwise from Leo. But he then goes on to assign Pluto to Aries by counterclockwise count.

All very fascinating and much food for thought. Now on to the digestion and assimilation!

Blessings...
