Greetings Quinnie...

Yes I have heard of Drunvalo Melchizedek and his work on Sacred Geometry and the Merkabah fields.

Merkabah is a Hebrew word that means Chariot, and according to him we can use this merkabah to ascend and even explore other worlds.

I think his theories are very interesting, and would like to learn more about them, but the people that teach his work in my area are charging $333.00 and $444.00 for 2 classes that purport to teach the development and use of the Merkabah meditation. To me that adds up to $777.00 which I think is a pretty costly investment for something that I think will happen on its own when the student is ready... but that is just my not so humble opinion.

I'd like to actually take a class with Melchizedek himself, but I think he's moved on to other work at this point...

What do you think of his ideas?

Blessings...

That charge is unreasonable, and I would say it taints whatever they teach.

Alsezion adn Randall I agree with the price thing, way too much to charge people for aiding them to explore their own energy fields, but the Merkaba etheric fields technique is one that I've come across before, so I'm still interested in learning more about it. I also stumbled across an article about 'The order in creation in Number and Geometry' by Frederick (Tontyn) Hopman, another read that seems to put creation so simply and resonates well with the Merkaba etherics.
I can't say I know too much about his ideas but I can see the etheric outlines pretty clearly and I'd love to know how to progress from vsions to actually interacting with the etheric or at least understanding it more. Do you know of any others who do similar type of work or even any sites I can visit that might fill in the details?

Also very intersting how chariot mean Merkabah, is this an ancient technique that he's bringing back?

Hi Quinnie...

Well, all I know is that Thoth, the Teacher that brought the information to Drunavalo about the Merkabah fields predates Atlantis... so the technique is very well eons old.

I don't know much about the particulars of the meditation, but I think he published the most of it in The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life, vols. I and II. He claims that there is a part of the meditation that must be taught directly, or is best experienced in a group setting... but if you are so inclined I would check ot those books, and the initial investment will only cost about $40.00 or $50.00 for the books. Or it can be had cheap and free from a public library near you, I'm sure.

I have a friend that has tried the Merkabah meditation as it was published in those books... or more particularly vol. II. It seemed to evoke some strong responses for him.

If you are going to try that route, perhaps, as Linda suggested with Star Signs, it would be best to read both books from cover to cover prior to experimenting with the meditation; that will give you some sort of context within which to work and interpret whatever experiences you may have.

Hope that helps a bit...
Bright Blessings...
