Hi Jakie...

Love Kahlil Gibran!

Taj:

Hrmmm... Pluto is actually related to the Judgment card in Tarot.

But I know what you mean... usually what happens or has for the past few hundred years is Uranus will pass through a sign and SHAKE THINGS UP, then Neptune will follow on its heels to DISSOLVE the old, worn and outmoded... then Pluto has been trailing along, BRINGING NEW LIFE and LIGHT to the mess.

Make any sense?

Greetings...

To the top.

I think the 7 Hermetic Principles are the foundation for Magic, Alchemy and what we now know as Quantum Physics.

As such they are important, and I think they bear frequent study... one may think that they have mastered these simple principles, but when continually meditated upon, they open up new vistas of understanding and enlightenment.

Blessed Be...

dear aselzion,

i have found many topics in your forum of interest, and encounter many subjects in daily life that relate along the same vein.

i was wondering if there is a way to knOw if these studies would be something i naturally gravitate towards and would be interested in studying for a long, long time?

best,

a.

Hey Mighty A...

Well... pretty much if you are interested in these things, then they ought to be in your chart.

Usually I look for close personal point (SU, MO, ME, ASC/ASC ruler, MC/MC ruler in some close aspect to an outer planet.

Lots of stuff in the "psychic houses 4-8-12" or 9th and 12th as connections to God/the Eternal will show the same thing.

Heavy Fire or Water placements also point to involvement in matters psychic/spiritual.

But I'd say, and not to be fresh, if it walks like a cow, and looks like a cow and moos like a cow... it's probably a cow!

Remember as Linda was so fond of saying, when the student is ready the Teacher will appear. Or as the Kybalion says, and I paraphrase badly, "when the teaching appears, the student is ready."

Hope that helps, dear one... have a Happy Thanksgiving.

you know, every person who has ever given me spiritual advice says a similar line. a nice way of saying i over analyze

guess its time to get started . . .

did you know i found a book called the Celestine Prophecy in a paper bag next to a trash can last year? still on my shelf unread. people rave about it.

k, enough analysis. time to get ready for mom to come pick up for the holiday stay over. kind of strange to be celebrating thanks and planning a funeral at the same time. don't you think?

infinite thanks

I am part way through reading. This is the best book I've ever read.

The interesting part is that if I had read it 6 years ago, I wouldn't have fully understood it.

Hmm.

Thanks Aselzion and Annie Kuzma.

Hey Randall...

If you check out the link above you can read it online or possibly d/l it.

But I think it's a classic and deserves a place on the shelf of every seeker.

When the student is ready......

I guess I'm ready for this book because of all of the signs that have been popping out at me recently about it. The Universe is telling me something. Then I found this string. I'm asking for this book for Christmas. I've just read a little bit of it from the link posted above and I'm hooked. And Aselzion said, "I think it's a classic and deserves a place on the shelf of every seeker." Well, then!! I must have it now!

"Where fall the footsteps of the Master, the ears of those ready for his Teaching open wide." --THE KYBALION

"When the ears of the student are ready to hear, then cometh the lips to fill them with Wisdom." --THE KYBALION

This link was my first sign. Fabulous site. http://www.pymander.com/AETHEREAL/ARCANE~1.htm

Greetings...

26Taurus... I do think this little book deserves a place on the shelf of every Seeker, that is true.

Much of The Kybalion is also restated in Quantum Physics, and has been picked up on by many authors in the Self-Help field... where of course they put a different spin on it perhaps than we would here.

That link looks very intriguing, I'll have to check it out as time permits. Thank you for your vote of confidence, but always remember, I am just another Seeker.

Hi Aselzion,

I dont know too much about Quantum Physics - yet. The link above has a page called Quantum Perspective that looks very interesting. It's an amazing Universe we live in, isnt it?

"Of the things that are, NOTHING is allowed to stand still."
The Ancient Egyptian Philosopher Hermes Trismegistus

Yes, when you find the time, check out that link. It's probably alot of stuff you already know. It seems to be heavily influenced by the Kybalion.

Much Light to you on your Path.

another seeker,
