I am relatively new at the world of Tarot...and haven't done any readings in forever...but, I just did one, on a website actually, that I have found in the past to be right on the mark...at any rate, what confuses me sometimes is how to apply the cards to my question... I asked if I were a disturbance in a friend's life...as I read his horoscope yesterday that described someone he knows being a disturbance...so, my answer was the Sun card...here is the explanation The card represents the critical factor for the issue at hand. The Sun: A time of contentment and freedom from restraints. Creative inspiration. Achievement, success, and warmth. Light and love in personal or business matters. Happiness and faithfulness in a relationship. would this mean that rather than a disturbance, that I represent happiness and light and love in his life? That is sortof what I am feeling...but I just would like a second opinion...thanks! IP: Logged |

Greetings...Shakespeare had a wonderful line in A Midsummer Night's Dream: "Lord, what fools these mortals be..." Why even question such a thing? If you know how you feel, what difference does it make what a horoscope that is NOT based on YOUR exact time, date and place of birth, nor HIS has to say... nor for that matter the turn of a Tarot card. I am a firm believer that cards and charts are wonderful tools for growth and enlightenment... BUT... These devices are merely tools to reflect us back at ourselves. Why use them to make or break a feeling, a relationship or a day? Trust that Inner Voice that we are all gifted with by our Creator.. follow the heart, not the head... Just that you had to ask the question is a wee bit suspect to me... if you were not troubled, you would not have asked. The doubts lead to fears, and the Universe, being a wonderful genie gives us back more of same... You may as well send out happy and loving to attract more of that. Would that not be a better course of action? I hope this helps... Blessed be... A ------------------ "The ALL is MIND; the Universe is Mental." *** The Kybalion IP: Logged |

I think the Sun card is just confirming what you already know. It's a happy, bright, optimistic card. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Greetings...JustAmanda... I'm sorry if you thought I was a bit blunt, but I believe in my heart that misusing these divinatory tools is not to anyone's benefit. I knew Linda personally, and believe me, she would have said just about the same thing I did... she was a firm believer in the power of the Spirit to overcome any obstacles, be they of an astrological nature or what have you. In my way I was trying to show you that it doesn't matter what the cards say, nor the horoscopes (particulalrly since the weren't based on your individual nativity nor his), but YOU have the power to know the truth.. if you but listen to that inner voice. All the tools in the world only help us to hone that wee small voice within. I hope that helps a bit... Bright Blessings... Linda even said Love could overcome astrology. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged | |
