I feel like that is happening to me. That has happened to me in 2 major influential relationships. With my dad and now, with my boyfriend. I feel like I am being sapped of all strength. That I am fading out. Losing reception.

I've done readings and some are very positive - the position of venus etc. But Eugenia Last said this was a messianic kind of thing and that I was slowly losing myself.

Does removing the auric cord result in an end of relationship? I'm not sure I want that to happen. I just need some room to wiggle my toes within this relationship.
Do you have any gut feelings? Do the cards say anything.

Hutchie... psychic vampires do drain the energy from people. They can suck the joy out of a room just by walking into it. Worst part is, I honestly believe that MOST of them don't even know they're doing it.

In terms of removing cords. Yes it can end a relationship, but only if the relationship is based on the ability of that other person to drain your energy. I would suggest that if you feel that drained by them, they are not feeding your Soul, and that may be cause to call a relationship quits. It depends on what you WANT out of the deal.

If you like fixer uppers and high maintenance types, then you may not want to end the relationship, because you are getting something out of it. It is a win-win. They need your energy, and you like to HELP and FIX.

If you are NOT getting any secondary gain from the relationship, if they are not contributing anything positive or if they are all take and no give, I say good riddance to bad rubbish. You cannot make them be what they are not. They can change if they desire, to become more of what you might need, but that has to be done through SELF motivation.. you cannot make them do the work necessary to change. BUT, change they can, if they so Will it.

What you can do is strengthen your Aura. Surround yourself with a protective shield, much like what they used in Star Trek, sort of a bluish, whitish color. Pure white Light is good, but can be hard to maintain for any great length of time.

See your aura as an egg surrounding your body, above your head and below your feet. It also extends out past your fingertips reach when your arms are fully extended. You may want to mentally place a protective symbol in your shield such as a Cross, A Pentacle, a Triquetra and some have even used a Rose at these 6 points in the Auric Field. (Above, Below, Right, Left, Front and Back) Visualize this glowing egg of energy surrounding you, and protecting you and then say three times:

"This shield will protect me from any and all positive and negative energies and forces that may come to do me harm."

When you say that phrase the 3rd time, add, "And it is so!" Be forceful and strong... say it like you mean it, and it Will be so!

Feel that you are protected. Know that you are protected. I also do suggest removing any cords that you may see with your Inner Eye.

That would be my suggestion. I hope that you will try the Shielding technique, and that you will begin to understand that you DO NOT need to give up your energy or your personal power for anyone else. True Love is both give and take.
