There are many ways to develop your abilities and to hone the particular ones that are you very own Gifts.

I would reccommend Divine Guidance by Doreen Virtue. This is great if you are very God and angel oriented. She includes a seperate set of exercises to develop each of the following Gifts: Clairvoyance, Clairsentience, Clairaudience and Claircognizance. By following the exercises you learn to develop whatever skills you may have in each of these areas.

The Silva Method of Mind Control by Jose Silva is also good for learning to function in altered levels of awareness to access you intuitive abilities. This is more science oriented with minimal metaphysical references. It gives a variety of exercises designed to enhance clairvoyance and your "genius" capacity.

If your tastes run to more pagan/Witchcraft oriented systems I would recommend Laurie Cabot's Power of the Witch. I have recently begun working with Laurie and her group in Salem, MA, and think this is a good guide to developing your psychic potential as well as learning the truths and fallacies about Witchcraft. Laurie's tradition is called The Science of Witchcraft, and she blends Celtic pantheism with quantum physics and Hermetic Philosophy.

These books are readily available on Amazon.com in both new and used editions.

By all means, this is NOT a complete list, but these books are a part of my library and I find them valid and useful.

Hope this helps, at least it will be a good place to begin.

I'm not the best one to ask about that subject.

I don't believe in Twin Souls... or at least NOT the way that most people mean that term.

I do NOT believe that there is ONE right ONE out there and that any other relationship is substandard to a Soul Mate... that is not a part of my belief system.

Perhaps you may want to inquire into another forum for that particular issue.

Well my beliefs are malleable and always under question...

If you want a fair representation of my beliefs at present, I am in a good deal of harmony with the Conversations With God material as presented by Neal Donald Walsch.

I am an astrologer. And I am investigating witchcraft as a science and a religion.

I study Tarot and Qabalah.

In terms of Soul Mates, I do believe that we have Soul Mates.. a Soul Mate in my belief system is a Soul with whom we have shared several or many incarnations. But it would also be true to say that we are all aspects of God/Goddess... and as such, there is only ONE Soul... as there is only ONE being. God/Goddess.. The All.. The Force... The Great I AM.

We believe that we are separated from this Source, and so we are... until such time as we Realize (make REAL) that we are not.

I'm not trying to be vague or evasive. I am trying to express a thought which has taken me many years of work and study and practice to wrap my little human brain around.

It might be easier if you were to ask specific questions. But perhaps easier still if I direct you to the Conversations With God material. That comes closes to expressing what I believe, but is not ALL of my belief system.

My ideal, though, would be for you to be interested in discovering and questioning your own belief system and finding through experiment that which works for you.

As the Nazarene has said:

14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.************John 14:1-4*******

I hope this helps a wee bit... I guess what I am trying to say is that it's hard for me to try to summarize a lifetime of experience and lessons and questions... to try and distill the essence of the Teachings that I have received through my various Teachers: to tell you THESE are my beliefs, like I am rattling off a grocery list.

If you have specific questions, I would be happy to discuss issues with you, but again, my advice would be first to seek out and work through the Conversations With God trilogy.

I think that would be a good starting point.

In terms of psychic development, I give you one more thought.. for good bad or indifferent as you see fit: "...seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ********** Matthew 6:33

Focus on Understanding and gaining Wisdom. Seek Spirituality, and as the Master has said, all these things shall be added unto you. Do not seek the abilities as an end unto themselves, but seek to understand the nature of God/dess and Self, and the "psychic" abilities will unfold on their own.
