Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas on Magi Astrology?

In my opinion, Magi Astrology is INCREDIBLE, the accuracy of this type of system is by far amazing.

I understand that Chiron is relatively new, but studying this asteroid I have come to the conclusion that it is pretty darn valid.

Magi Astrology is incredible for telling us the best days to do something, and I believe it's higly accurate in forecasting relationships.

It's great because it doesn't focus on the hour of birth, but pays more attention to the planetary aspects in a person's Natal Chart. Very good for those who don't know their time of birth. Aspects are held in a very high regard.

Greetings...

Star, what a versatile mind you have. Magic, Astrology, Tarot... each of these could be one lifelong study, let alone trying to delve into them all. I respect that, as it is very similar to my own Path...

As to Magi Astrology. I haven't really devoted any time to studying it yet. Relationship astrology is not my main area of interest (more of a medical and Horary Astrologer I suppose). So I cannot really speak intelligently about its methods.

In terms of Chiron, or any other asteroid or planetoid or what-have-you. Personally when I do a natal chart or any other type... I do not use them. This in no way implies that I don't believe in their use... I think if the Creator(s) put it out there.. it can tell us something.

BUT... personally, and I AM an opinionated Astrologer, I don't believe that most astrologers REALLY know their Basics: the Planets, Signs, Houses and Aspects. Due to this lack of a foundation in their own art/science, they want to add bits of space debris to a chart to tell them that which they are unable to detect by use of these basics alone.

That may sound harsh, but, I have yet to see anyone tell me anything about myself, or predict any event for me using those secondary factors that I could not describe with just the BASICS.

When one of these modern astrologers (as I call them) can describe a person by looking at the chart and NOT having met the individual (describing scars, marks, moles, height, and probable hair and eye color)... when they can predict an event with precision, or diagnose an illness from the chart with just the BASICS.. then I might be inclined to listen to their opinions about secondary factors that have not been the subject of study for thousands of years, as the BASICS have.

I suppose this makes me sound like an old poop, but it is how I feel. I think people for the most part want to skim the surface of Astrology, and psychologize it for acceptance, than to truly master its depths and intricacies. I love the Science; I am sure this is not my first encounter with Astrology in my history of Incarnations, so I may be a wee bit prejudiced in this matter.

That having been said. I apologize if I step on any toes, but I think I shall remain...

The Opinionted Astrologer.

In the Light...
A

That's absolutely fine. But Magi Astrology is really suited for those who don't know their birth time. Traditional Astrology doesn't really work without knowing your exact time of birth. Magi is just another option.

Magi Astrology works miracles when you want to pick good days, to lets say start a business, get married, mail a letter, go out on a date, and deal with stocks. I don't think it works better in regards to understanding a personality or a soul's mission. But it certainly works in questions that regard to, "Is this relationship going to last long?" "Will this marraige be a success or a disaster?" "When is the best day to start a new business or a job?" "Or when should we go out on a first date?"

Yah, those are all very trivial concerns, but it helps your Free Will Tinker Toys from preventing some pretty unnecessary disasters. It can show you why a relationship was wrong, or it went terribly awry! Can Magi Astrology be abused for personal gain? Yes, I would say so, but that is the power of Free Will at its worst. It works very well, and I do think you should look into it someday. Chiron Linkages are quite powerful indeed. I don't think most Magi Astrologers neglect traditional Astrology they just add to it.

Personally, I really think Linda Goodman would have benefited from Magi Astrology in regards to her relationship with Robert Brewer. I don't know if this is true, but I read somewhere that she didn't quite understand why the relationship turned sour even though they were so compatible. Magi Astrology would've explained why.

P.S. I'm a Pisces with a Gemini Moon, and so there are many times when I'm all over the place! I don't like it, since it can be hard for me to focus on one thing alone, and I'm quite the fickle pickle. I want to do everything at once. For instance, I'll read a book, watch tv, eat, talk on the phone, and be on the computer at the very same time. My first love will always be Astrology. I've been interested in Astrology ever since I was a small child.
