i dont know how many people know the bhagvad gita here....anyways its a part of a major epic known as mahabharata....it was actually a dialouge between our two gods where lord krishna opens the realities of life and karma.... anyways i saw a gita tarot pack the other day....very fascinating....shows the various parts of it??? anyone else seen it?? do we have tarot packs on other epics also...???IP: Logged |

Greetings...I have not heard of that deck, but thanks for the info. I think that there is now a Tarot out there based on Lord of The Rings, and I know that there are at least 2 different Arthurian Taort decks available. I always suggest that you choose a deck that speaks to your inner ear, as the deck is only a tool to help your intuition (inner hearing) come into play as you read. Blessings... Hi! I was given the book "Baghavaad Gita" (sic) in the Las Angeles airport by a Hare Krishne...I won't say what year... Well, actually he was selling it for $10 I thought it a real find... but quite honestly...I couldn't really comprehend it... I was into Eastern thought quite a bit then. I read a lot of books...finally, I concluded that I am living in a Western World, and I can't really apply Eastern thinking. I'd like to go back and re-read some things I read then...and see what my understanding is now. anyway....the pictures rockIP: Logged |

hey u know its ironic that gita is an eastern epic but the followers of krishna n gita are way more....when u enter the international society for krihna conciousness(ISCON)....u see so many foreign followers.... the vibrations that are passed to u wen u stand ther especially when the aarti is on....is really strong... well actually gita is a more universal concept...not really eastern...although the situation n characters are indian its roots arent....its universal...gita talks about karma...ur deeds...past lives...family...n why sometimes u need to fight them... iv realized something not always but mostly u should read while connecting or plotting yourself in it and see how the book talks to you...see how u learn more....IP: Logged |
