This is quite possibly the funniest thing I've ever come across. ___________________________________________Welcome to Reasonably Clever's Tarot. Possibly the goofiest attempt at a custom-made tarot deck. Ever. Reasonably Clever, where our motto is, "Hey! That's reasonably clever!" (ROFL) Before we begin, let me stress once again that the LEGO Group has nothing to do with this little project of mine. These cards were developed for my own personal enjoyment and as a tribute to all things LEGOŽ. (As an odd bit of trivia, this deck was nearly postponed for a PEZŽ Tarot. But, perhaps luckily, I couldn't figure out many cards past using the Bride and Groom for The Lovers.) (some of the Major Arcana) LOL! The Empress is in a library. This guy's gotta be a Virgo. (weirdo) And what other sign would take all the time and go to such detail? hahahahah! http://www.reasonablyclever.com/tarot/index.html

The shelves of alphabetical books in the background. Also, this: quote: Author Commentary:Okay, so I have a thing for librarians. (I blame the video for the Adam Ant song "Goody Two Shoes.") The figure's head is from the Alpha Team sets - I had to edit out the microphone on her left cheek. She's reading Tom Riddle's diary - no symbolism meant there, it was just he most "book like" book LEGO had produced at that time.

Greetings...I think the BookWorm High Priestess would have made a wee bit more sense. The Empress is more about growth and fertility. Just my two cents! In the Light... A ------------------ "The ALL is MIND; the Universe is Mental." *** The Kybalion IP: Logged |

hehe. I agree. This guy obviously had limited understanding of the Tarot. He's just obsessed with Legos. The Empress would have been more appropriately portrayed as a gardener or childcare provider. Two more cents. ------------------ "We don't see things as they are...we see things as we are". -Anais Nin IP: Logged |

OH MY GOSH!!!THESE ARE SOOoooooooooooo FLIPPIN' FUNNY! How did I miss this?
I agree it would be quite difficult to use these "real-world" and keep a strait face. But of what a fun and silly collectors item this would be. Heeee...heee... Reminds me of someone that had a bit too much fun at Lego-land and while I'll admit it's a cool adventure it somehow just did not strike me as a spiritual event or experience, LOL! Tarot to me however is Thank you so much for sharing these cards, I really did need a good hearty giggle today! ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit" IP: Logged |
